One of the aims of the Emsworth Food Festival
since its inception in 2001 has been to support local organisations. To date this has been
through the allocation of relatively small sums that could usefully be
used by the community. However, in 2005 the committee agreed to the
on going support of the
Emsworth Heritage Project
which is principally concerned with the on going maintenance of
"The Terror" Emsworth's only remaining Oyster smack which is due to be
re-launched at this years Festival and the development of an Emsworth
Heritage Trail.
